John 3:16 — KJV “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 may be the most familiar verse in the Bible, but its message never becomes old. It begins with God’s love. God did not simply say that He loved us—He showed it by giving His Son, Jesus.
Notice that the verse says, “God so loved the world.” That includes every person. It includes people who have made terrible mistakes, people who feel far from God, and people who wonder if God could really love them. His love reaches farther than our failures.
Then comes the word “whosoever.” That means the invitation is open to everyone. We do not earn this gift by becoming good enough. We receive it by believing in Jesus and trusting Him.
And what is the result? “Everlasting life.” Jesus came not merely to make our lives a little better. He came to save us from sin and give us eternal life with God.
Today, remember this simple truth: God loves you, Jesus died for you, and eternal life is offered to you as a gift of His grace
